Business Plan Lead

Team Manager and Business Plan Lead of a team size of 35 members.

Learnings & Outcomes:

  1. Budget allocation of 12 lakhs to 5 departments, access raw material and ancillary requirement to calculate % distribution of money amoung departments..

  2. Defined Scope of Work and prepared work breakdown structure for 35 team members.

  3. Competitor analysis of participating teams, created competitor matrix w.r.t engine, weight, acceleration to compare our standing with top 5 teams.

  4. Organising 1st ever roll out event. Booking halls and hospitality arrangement for 60 stakeholders including parent and sponsors.

My Role:

Preparing a business pitch to deliver marketing strategies. My main goal was to find a total addressable market for a niche product like Motorsport racing. I worked on preparing marketing strategies that would provide better return on investment to the investors.

Impact:

  1. Secure 6th rank overall among 80 teams which participated

  2. Secured 4th rank in Design and implementation.

  3. Guided and trained 4 junior class students in Business Plan Presentation and Execution.
